Let me fix that yaoi for you

Alas. This is a problem I’ve seen many times in my figure drawing classes, where you start off and everything seems fine and dandy, until the edge of the page comes into sight. and then you start to draw smaller and smaller the closer you get to it, and you end up with something like this which looks great until you compare his foot to his head.

One way I learned to avoid this is to draw a thumbnail of the pose you want, then mark off the horizontal length (or vertical, whichever is longer) and then mark the center of that length. Then on your full size piece of paper make the same marks for the length but fit to your page, then find the center again and you’ve got an easy starting point if you compare with the thumbnail

I know not everybody plans that much in advance but it just sucks when things like this happen

Which means seme is sitting next to uke but curving… here let me just draw a floor plan of what is happening here because you know you love diagrams

So just um… remember there’s lots of stuff to keep in mind, do your best, you can do it, and arms don’t bend that far back.
